Chailey Colts is celebrating its’ 15th Anniversary this year, and in that time it’s fundamental principles have not changed – to offer a friendly, accessible community club for the enjoyment of young players and parents alike.

Although the club has grown over the years, and various new age groups have developed, we still believe that the social side of the club (see News Section) is as important as the footballing side. The club now runs seven league teams from Under 9-15 and has over 120 registered players.

This year we also saw the achievement of a long held ambition – that of becoming one of the few clubs in Sussex (and the country) to achieve the FA Charter Standard award.

The managers hold a variety of qualifications - FA Junior Team Manager, FA level 1 and 2 Coach as well as a EUFA B Licensed Coach. We have regular in-house coaching sessions that allow all coaches to develop, improve and demonstrate new drills and techniques. They also all hold certificates in Emergency Aid and Child Protection, and several managers have also recently qualified as referees. All managers and coaches hold relevant CRB certificates.

We already have several dedicated pitches of various sizes, from mini-soccer to full size adult, in both Chailey and Newick which allows us not only to cater for all age groups but also to play home matches in the local area,

So if you want to join a friendly but forward thinking club then please just call the individual team manager (go to the relevant age section or Contact Us).
